(A bit of weirdness from my mind 😄)
I was thinking about the different roles of the 3 persons of the trinity.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
I've been wondering about their differences while still being the same.
The fact that all creation was created by Jesus. And he was born into human form in a plan designed to save us. A form he is forever bonded to, even though he has immortality.
It is for that reason that the Holy Spirit had to come once Jesus had left the earth. In his human form, Jesus could no longer be omni-present - with all people at once. But the Spirit could! Jesus came to show us the beautiful true identity of God in visible and verbal form. The Spirit then took over to convict of the validity of who he is to all who heard of him.
But neither did or said anything that didn't come from the Father.
So what was the Father's role?
Perhaps he is the 'brain', the source of all that is the essence of God. The vibrant, loving life-force that infuses all of creation! His thoughts and attributes flow through the Son and the Spirit, making them all one in purpose and character, even as three separate entities.
A bit scifi in concept. A bit weird and wonderful.
I think heaven will be very interesting. I don't think we have it in our tiny brains to really understand yet how it all works.
Just food for thought... 😊
