That Perfect Life

What a climactic moment when Jesus walked out of the tomb!! Satan and his angels would have been freaking out!! Their wrapped-up plan was rapidly unravelled!! They had failed to taint that perfect life with even a spot of their evil!! And in that failure, the death that they had supposed would seal his fate - and that of all of us here! - became null and void!! No sin had tarnished him - so their trap could not hold him!!

That one perfect life was powerful enough to atone for every wrong that every single soul on this damaged earth has ever done. It was a life worth the price of many lambs. Because it was the life of God himself!!! That perfect, beautiful life that he refused to betray, even in the darkest of times. That life that was beaten and mocked and deserted. The life that chose to remain focused, to the bitter end, on his deadly mission - despite being free to abandon it at any time!

That life was poured out to remove the death sting in ours!!! To take away the end we all succumb to. To write another ending!!

Jesus walked out of that prison a free man!! No one else had ever been able to do that!! And he walked free with our pardons in his hand!! Jesus bought us life. Forever life. Choose him and it's yours. If you don't, then by default, the grave will claim you forever. There are no other options.

Thankyou Jesus for dying the death that was mine - not yours! I never would have made it through. But you did!! Thankyou Jesus that you did!! Because of you there is life beyond the grave!! And death will never touch us again.
