Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves was playing on our TV the other day. A blast from the past! 😄 And I realised this morning, how close this allegory, replayed in countless versions in our stories, mirrors the true state of our life here!
There is a usurper running the kingdom here - one who sucks us dry with no pity! One who's only aim is for his own pleasure. And he's slowly destroying the kingdom, while the true King is away, fighting to protect it! But just like in the story - the King will return! And the usurper, and those who follow him, will have no more power to break us down.
How much our souls long for this, shows in our tales. Deep inside, our hearts know...
