That Sparkle!

I was struck by tiny little drops of dew on the very tips of grass blades, sparkling in the morning sunlight.

So easy to miss - yet so very pretty when noticed.

And as my eyes lifted to the garden beyond them, and then to the clear blue skies above, my spirit felt a sense of joy and excitement!

Sunny days do that to me! They entice me to come out and explore and play!

And it's all because of the sun! It glows! Splashes warmth and sparkle and vivid colour wherever it touches!!

And again I am reminded of the similarity between what the sun does in my world, lifting my spirits, and my God and what he does in my life.

All the warmth and vibrance and sparkle the sun shares that tugs at my heart and makes it smile - all of that I find in my beautiful God.

And when my eyes are on him, my soul is lifted high!
