I don't know if you've noticed, but on a clear morning at dawn, just before the sun rises, the sky above the horizon tinges with colour. Towards the east, where the sun is lifting, are ribbons of soft orange-golds and apricots fading into turquoise. If you follow that horizon to the west, the colours become cooler tones, pinks fading into lavenders. And both blend into the baby blue colours of the lightening sky.
I've noticed this a few times and loved the way those ribbon colours are different depending on which direction you're facing. But only recently did something beautiful strike me! Stretched from horizon to horizon above me, they create a kind of rainbow! A gift of a new day wrapped in a promise! How beautiful is that?!!
