Listening to a worship song this morning - and it suddenly struck me -
there is significance to the fact that the child of light was born into the dark of night!!
Literally!!
And the signs which spoke of his coming set the night skies ablaze with dazzling glory!!!
A throng of blinding angels!!
A huge, transfixing star!!
They lit up the darkness, symbolic of his mission here - to bring hope and life and light
to the deeply shadowed and lost souls groping their way through this world.
