Bedrock...

Looking back over this year, I'm reminded that life is shifting sands!! Constantly changing in circumstances and the ones who share your life! A permanently moving landscape. Our lives never look the same for very long!

But beneath those shifting sands, I have my feet firmly placed on a rock that never changes. A rock that is the same yesterday, today and forever! That I can depend on as the one constant in my life.

And it gives me a sense of certainty amongst all the upheavals. A sense of peace in all the chaos. A knowledge that whilst I have no idea what tomorrow may bring, I have one who will be unchangingly with me through it all, holding me solidly in place.

I am secure in these shifting sands, because I am his. And that will never change, because he doesn't.

Take his hand and walk boldly into the unknown! He is the constancy to hold you on course!
