Accidental Life!

I often get songs playing and replaying in my mind 😄. The last month or so, one has clambered in there time and again! It's a happy, whimsical number, written in the 90's, by a group called Frente - and at first glance it appears to be a frothy little thing about nothing much. But it occurs to me that it speaks very much to the circumstances we are currently in.

It begins by describing the four walls we live in, colourlessly accompanied by the TV as our companion. And then it steps outside those four walls, into the world beyond, where a stroll can bring you moments of unplanned pleasure - whether it's a cheery greeting from a neighbour who's also ventured out, or the growing awareness of sights and sounds and life all around. Very pertinent to the value of "real" experiences we're redeveloping right now, don't you think???
