You are salt!

This morning our Youth team took the service. And what a great job they did! Such a talented group of young people! And their focus on the very first church program of this year, was to make a difference in the world you touch. It reminded me of a thought God gave me a while ago that I never really formulated for posting. But I guess it's a theme now 😄 so here it is! 

Salt. It's not like water which spreads itself evenly over a contacted surface. It is hundreds of tiny little individual grains. Each grain flavours that with which it comes in contact. Jesus calls us to be salt! (Matt 5:13) It's too overwhelming to even think of trying to fix everything that's wrong in this world. And that isn't our job! We are to improve the lives of those with whom we come in contact! Every person who crosses our path - we lift their lives! And when many of us do that, the world feels a positive change.
