So much pain. So much dark and brokenness. It's there. I know it. I pray about it every day. But then my consciousness is captured by the glow of morning. By the chorus of bird song. By the abundance of fruit and colour on living, growing things around me. And something strikes me. God is fully aware of all the dark and pain. He grieves and aches and groans over our struggles. But he chooses to shine anyway. Don't let the darkness consume your soul. Don't let it eat all the joy from your life. Choose to shine anyway. Sing and grow and glow anyway. You are his child - and he's showing you how to live!
