Do you realise that God did not save you and then leave you to find your own way?! He saved you - which was huge in itself! But then he gave you a title way beyond understanding. He adopted you! Into his home. Into his family. Into his heart. You have become his child.
The love that he lavishes on Jesus is yours too. He holds you, lifts you, carries you, encourages you, leads you, gently remodels you into the most beautiful version of yourself. His love is endless and unchanging despite our poor behaviours, always cheering us on to better.
1 John 3:1 "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"
We are part of his family, and he treasures us. We belong.
