I sit in my garden and think. And it feels like stolen moments in a world of chaos. I can hear the hum of traffic and activity all around me. Everyone is on a mission to accomplish what "needs" to be done today. Like them, my days are packed schedules of home duties, work commitments and promised tasks. We scurry from one to another, packing in what we can for today, with leftovers passing to tomorrow's list.
Long ago, a guy named Daniel was told by God that in the last days "many would run to and fro...". As I sat in the quiet and listened, that verse jumped into my mind. Along with another thought... It's a trap. This crazy busyness distracts us from what is real in this life. We need to stop. And refocus. Or before we know it, life will have passed us by...
