There are things that have happened in our lives that have brought pain. Some of them are regrets that we have brought upon ourselves. And it is ok to look back and learn from them. But not to live there. Not to become a prisoner of those painful thoughts.
As much as we can we need to leave those memories behind and live life from today. Being aware of life around us right now, disconnecting it from anything prior that might sour it. And savour those now moments for what they are. Without taint. So that life can, right now, be purely lovely.
