How did Jesus hang out with a man he knew was going to cut him so deeply. And how does God keep on reaching out when we keep on cutting him. There is no love like his. â¤ď¸
Jesus knew that he could not trust Judas. But he chose to love him anyway. Love is not the same as trust. Love is a gift of ourselves regardless of what the other will do.
It comes down to a choice. Always. Do I choose FOR love? Or against. One choice is for life. The other is not. No matter how hard it is, I need to choose for love.
We think love is something we feel for someone. While that is a part of it, the feeling is not always there. Love, real love, comes in who you choose to be, and what you choose to give, regardless of how you feel. It can be the opposite of how you feel. If the feeling's not there, just BE love.
