He was the most perfect being we'd ever known.
He was kind,
filled with love and compassion
and wisdom and goodness.
And he was human - like you and me.
He knew what he was going to have to go through.
He was in such intense distress in his struggle over facing this trauma
(both the physical he knew he'd have to endure,
and the emotional tearing from a Father he'd never been separated from)
that he sweat great drops of blood.
And yet he went through with it.
Because his love was so great.
And his compassion so deep.
That he could not leave us without hope.
What kind of God does that???
