Gifts for Everyone!

I was thanking God this morning for the beautiful things in nature - the things that surround me! Every day there are wonders around us if we only stop and notice! And I was thanking him for those gifts he gives me! And for the way he got me, long ago, to actually look and see those gifts! Not to be so goal focused that I forget to open my eyes to those precious things I'm otherwise blind to.

Then I thought - but they're not just for me! They're for everyone!! They're all around us, waiting to bless anyone who sees them!! (And right then a little Golden Whistler came right into the open to sit where I could see him! Usually they hide in the foliage really well and I'm blind 😄 so I struggle to pick them out! It wouldn't sit still for long enough for me to take a photo - they never do for me 😂. I admire people who can take beautiful bird photos!)

His gifts are there for whoever takes the time to stop and notice them!! And I guess the same is true for the spiritual life around us. It's there for everyone!! But not everyone will take the time to stop and notice it. How much richer is life for those who do.
