It's Christmas. And I'm thinking of gift giving. And Jesus, the greatest gift. And how that gift was the most incredible display of the reality of love that has ever been seen. And I think of how God asks me to be a gift of love too! And I think that sounds beautiful! Until I'm reminded of what that love gift cost him. And I'm ashamed of the way I complain when love giving gets a little hard. And I wonder if I'm really up for being a true love gift. When it really costs. God help me. I really want to be....
