There is a love for which you seek. A love deep and pure and unending. A love which never changes.
You will not find it in a human heart. Every human fails. We cannot be relied upon to not cause pain - even to those we love. And our love relies on our own hearts being fed in return. When that fails to come through in the way we crave it, our love dies.
You will not find it within yourself. Our love for ourselves is fickle at best. We spend our days trying to bolster it with things that make us feel good.
The only love which feeds our hunger to contentment so that we are free to be givers, is the love that is God himself. He is what you are craving.
